What Is MGM-16?

MGM-16 is a structural isomer of MGM-15 with enhanced metabolic stability. It is a partial agonist at the mu-opioid receptor with high affinity (Ki ~12 nM) and strong G-protein bias. Beta-arrestin-2 recruitment is moderate at supratherapeutic concentrations but minimal at analgesic doses, and a ceiling effect is observed at higher doses. Like MGM-15, it is a synthetic tool compound used in pharmacological research and is not found in kratom or consumer products.
